I choose this book because it provides many facts about the Spanish-American War and "Yellow Journalism."  The book has good information about the 1890's and the events that happened then.  This book was a good starting point for me to learn more about my topic.

This website provided me with insight on the results of Spanish-American War.  The website shows how significant the Spanish-American War was to U.S. history.  Although the article is relatively new, the sources used to write it are mostly primary sources.

This website provided me with an archive of cartoons and pictures taken during the 1890's.  I took most of the pictures on my website from this archive because cartoons, newspapers, and pictures are all primary sources.  The pictures and newspapers show what is happening during that time.

I choose to use this website because it gave important facts about one of the most famous people during the time of the Spanish-American War.  Teddy Roosevelt was the commander of the famous Rough Riders and his merit eventually led him to become a president.  Theodore Roosevelt played a huge part in supporting the war, and that's another reason why I choose this website.

I choose this website because it provided me with facts about Pulitzer.  He was one of the important people that helped start the war by using "Yellow Journalism."  The website used legitimate sources like the School of Journalism in Columbia University.

I liked this website because it provided me with facts about Hearst.  The website had many important quotes from Hearst and I used them in my website.  The Hearst and Pulitzer rivalry played a crucial part in starting the war because they made the citizens angry at Spain by using "Yellow Journalism."
